in 2000, with the release of this time around, the site was revived. the return came with little more html knowledge than in '97, but with a more mature writing style. story number three, if you're gone, was written along with a single piece of backstreet boys fiction titled more than that [story] with the beginning of yet another hanson hiatus, the site fell to the side again.
in 2003, just before the release of underneath acoustic, the BA/OIMYS was moved to js-inc [jssearch.com/~qtjoey] where it underwent severe modification due to advanced html studies. the site was converted to a web of slightly flawed frames. while located on js-inc, BA/OIMYS underwent a name change. the name two beds and a coffee machine, to which a '[dotcom]' was affectionately added, comes from the savage garden song of the same name. the lyric containing the phrase reads, 'full of candy dreams and new toys in another cheap hotel - two beds and a coffee machine.'
during the short duration of 2b&ACM[dotcom]'s residence at js-inc, the writing underwent great scrutiny. the few written chapters of a love so strong were deleted and completely rewritten, while a two new short stories, amazing and dial tone, were written as well as a new long story, behind the music. themes began to touch on more realisitic, down-to-earth topics, and the rewrite of ALSS was designed to gear the story in the same direction despite its juvenile prequel. the backstreet boys fiction was included, but never expound upon.
on november eleventh, 2003, the domain promise-the-sky.net was purchased from webmasters.com. 2b&ACM[dotcom] has since made a move to the domain where it is now and where it will hopefully stay. the writing will continue, though the backstreet boys will still not see the light of day [well unless you click the link above]. the site has a yahoo group entitled two_beds and readers are always encouraged to join. two beds is now maintained using the following:
paint shop pro v.7/8
